Ian
Whitehead
For
me, photography is both a journey and an experience
where light, land, camera and photographer, connect as one.
The results are stunning true continuous-tone chromogenic photographs
that have the archival durability to last
over seventy years when properly cared for and displayed.

Ian uses a 4x5 large
format camera to capture great detail. The original transparency
is scanned on a high-resolution drum scanner, creating a master
image file which is transferred to Fuji Crystal Archive Photographic
Paper each time a print is ordered.
The results are stunning
continuous-tone photographic images of the highest quality, depth,
color, and definition at nearly twice the archival durability
of Ilfochrome or Cibachrome prints.
Fascinated
by the sculpted sandstone canyons of the Southwest, Ian and Lisa
Whitehead live in Sedona, Arizona. Ian was born in England and
raised on the west coast of California where he first started
to view the world through the lens of a camera.
